Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lokantab application and website, operated by Smaragdon Technologies OÜ (“Lokantab”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Estonia. By creating an account or using Lokantab, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Lokantab is a point-of-sale and management application for cafés and restaurants, including menu management, order taking, table management, analytics and related features.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and using Lokantab for a business. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account, including any team members you invite. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Subscriptions and billing

Lokantab offers paid subscriptions. When you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, payment is charged to your store account and billing is handled by Apple or Google under their terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting your Lokantab account does not automatically cancel a store subscription — cancel it in the store as well.
• If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
• Prices may change; we will give notice where required. Except where the law or the relevant app store requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.

Your content

You keep ownership of the business data you put into Lokantab. You grant us the permissions needed to host, process and display that data solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you enter.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Lokantab for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• interfere with or disrupt the service or its security;
• copy, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly permits it;
• resell or provide the service to third parties without our consent.

Intellectual property

Lokantab, including the app, website, and all related software, designs and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them other than the right to use the service.

Third-party services

The service relies on third parties (such as the app stores and our infrastructure and analytics providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their parts of the experience.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using Lokantab and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the service or other users.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
